With Nintendo’s recent clean sweep of the Japanese top ten software chart, lets all reminisce with some quotes from Sony....

With two new consoles out in three months time, I'm sure that's going to change.

Well, we don't know.

The question is, with the success of both the DS and the PSP (hell, each of them is outselling the other 8 combined), it that taking away any potential sales of non- handheld consoles, especially in Japan? I'm not talking here about the hardcore, because they will buy regardless, but the casual who will buy a system on a whim and then 3-4 games in its lifetime. DS is selling a heck of a lot of games at the moment, and for everyone buying a DS game, they're not buying a PS2 game. Will be interesting to see whether this continues once Console Wars Part 356 starts up again.
