Huge ripoff. You can get the same package for $89US (plus $5US for shipping) from Divineo.cn (use the Chinese site... much cheaper than the others for shipping).

I appreciate the effort, but meh. I'll have a look at Zelda, the rest aren't really my cup of tea.Talez wrote:Mario Hoops 3-on-3

Castlevania.
I'm predominantly after puzzle games, platformers, shooters and music stuff. I've got Tetris, Meteos, Kirby, Castlevania, Mario Kart (came with the DS), NSMB and Electroplankton. I also have ready access to Metroid and Polarium. They're all great, but it's been ages since I've bought something new. I suppose I should check out Nanostray.
I just read a bit about Mario vs DK 2 and it sounds interesting but not "OMG must-have". I'm over Starfox, MechAssault doesn't really appeal (although it looks alright) and RPGs and sports titles don't do it for me.
Looks like good times ahead for RPG fans though.

That's the most recent Passcard, yeah. Sits flush and you won't have to flash it
Although, at this stage I would probably recommend getting an M3 Micro - it will sit flush with the DS Lite and not stick out like the others. Only disadvantage is that you need to use a micro-SD card which only goes up to 1gb.

there's something a little "off" about how yoshi looks..a little too pre-rendered if you know what i mean

It was in a demo of Genji 2, a sort of feudal-Japanese slash-em up by some ex-Capcom developers. Think along the lines of Onimusha on steroids. Anyway, in the Sony demo they showed off this game and were playing up the games footing in "real historical events" ... then there was a segue into the most ridiculous enemy for a historically "accurate" game - ".... and here's a giant enemy crab. Knock it onto its back and hit it's weak spot for massive damage".
Anyway, this line seems to have made it into Contact, thanks to some awesome localisation work - something Nintendo have been quite good at lately.

This is the video that made it famous:Peppermint Lounge wrote:I haven't actually seen the part of Sony's conference where the 'massive damage' bit was mentioned but am curious as to why it's so funny. Some dude said 'hit his weakspot for massive damage'. Was it the way he said it? Is it because it's a videogame cliche?
Well its either me or Rocco ...
