A pure classic

Tetris - Gameboy version
Man that brings back memories of playing this as a kid in the carpark of woolworths down on the tweed heads.

I wanted to post the underwater music cause I think it's just beautiful but had real trouble finding it on it's own.

Thanks for the link Grey :)

Any who haven't heard the Theme for Last Ninja, check it out - there's also heaps of covers for this. The one by 'Instand Remedy' is absolute top notch!

Oh geeze this is just fun.

It's the Super Mario Bros Underwater theme redone for Smash Bros Brawl.
I love the smash bros series and how they redo classic titles.

another redone Mario Bros theme...

The Airship from Super Mario Bros 3.

I just love all the extra drums and strings in it.

I discovered someone else has created a similar thread ages ago... in it was a link to a Mario64 tune... dire something. I dunno.

Anyone know what that track was? I didn't get to check it out.

I had a thought for another track I wanted to share and then I started listening to the mario underwater music and lost it.

---edit---

Found it. Dire, Dire Docks
reminds me of a late 80's early 90's tv theme. Kinda cool and mellow though.

Thanks for the bump of this epic thread Grey. Awesome stuff.

The sad part is that it also highlights the very sad corporate 'cleansing' of YouTube. :(

Anyhow...

This is "Fly" by a group called Loudmouth. I think this song only works due to it being used in the intro sequence. I mean honestly... it's pretty generic mid 90's rock. But slap it on the intro to this game and... it really just works.
