I've recently dug this game out again, only having the GBA version makes me miss the Amiga version more. So far I'm up to the top division of the league, and just had a narrow loss to Super Nashwan.

I had a copy of retro gamer mag lying around saying that there are emulators available for GBA, even up to and including some of the 16 bit systems (of which Amiga 500 surely counts). Here's hoping theres a Speedball 2 translation available.

I'd still say this game is one of, if not the best sports game ever made.

What was that game released on Xbox by a small European company again? That was pretty damn good too, but didn't hold a candle to SB2.

I still have the PC version of Speedball 2. It's a legitimate copy too!

It fits on a single floppy disk
Currently playing: Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition (PC), Far Cry 4 (PC), FIFA 23 (Series X)

Speedball was indeed awesome, but...

Damnit, none of you guys have heard of Projectyle have you. Eldritch the Cat? One of the awesomest games evar and it seems that nobody knows about it. If I could convince you lot to play just 2 retro games it would be Projectyle and Todd's Adventures in Slimeworld.
