Two and a half years ago I was sure it would be out by now. But who knows, maybe when the clowns at Sega of Japan get their shit together and listen to their fans we'll get it. Hopefully as one package containing the entire saga.

I dunno, but I reckon it's the only plausible option. If they released just Shenmue III on its own on a next gen console, who'd buy it?

As long as they don't change the style too much and stay true to the original gameplay while getting rid of loading times and stuff, I'm all for a remake.

Unless of course Sega were to release Shenmue I and II over the Xbox Live marketplace...

Wow, looks amazing. The models are so round, not sure the n64 could push polygons like that(of course the psx prolly could). With added saturn quadrangle stability to boot.

Shenmue II you can switch back and forth between 50Hz/60Hz/VGA.
That's a little weird... the VGA cord didn't do similar things to any other games and their saves did it?

Just Shenmue as far as I know. It warns you before you start a VGA/60Hz game that you can't switch to 50Hz later, so it's no great surprise when it happens.
