PGR reborn as Blur

A few things:
1) Bizarre can still put together a trailer/intro like no-one else. The PGR4 intro still gives me goosebumps... that Blur one is no different.
2) Looks like it will have very similar handling to PGR4. At least, that's the impression I got from that.
3) It looks infinitely better than any of the previous released screens indicated. This trailer makes those screens look like Motorhead in comparison.

I'm actually a bit pumped!

This should be a day one purchase for 360 owners but I think the bigger win is for long suffering PS3 owners.

PS: Wipeout is awesome but it aint no PGR2, which brings me to a point. Why would you resist Blur? You love wipeout you loved PGR2. Mash them together and you have WIN!

Sorry, I've been away. I've kept the faith all along on this one and have been following it, despite my reservations about racers with weapons.

I have a multi player beta key. The beta starts on 08 March, so I should be able to give first hand impressions in a couple of days. (I haven't checked my email yet, so it might have started?).

Early first hand impressions of people who are in the early beta are extremely favourable. Apparently the track design is genius, and encourages absolute mayhem.

Really awesome retrospective of Blur.

From the comments, I followed to another youtuber into the Blur Discord community, and they have an apparent "safe" image of the PC version.

It's a legit community. 4.4Gig off a googledrive, and it seems safe. I have installed and run - no virus issues. And it was all very simple - just unpack and run the exe.
