Unreal engine 3 not so unreal?

Ive been reading latley that the Unreal 3 engine doesnt support aa on xbox 360, how is this so when all games require a min 2xaa as a part of the microsoft certification process?

Bullshit they require minimum 2xAA. I'm pretty sure Gears of War has no AA and it's first-party. Where'd you read that?

It doesn't support the tiled rendering process that the Xbox 360 uses to get 2xAA "for free". They could enable 2xAA but they would take a performance hit.

Certification process is a joke allready, 90% of the games have no AA and even fkn PGR3 didn't run in the "required" resolution.
