Seamless.... I'm not sure that's entirely how I'd describe Live. It's a great service, don't get me wrong, but it's not perfect by any means.

Connection issues aside mech, the intergration is excellent. You can invite and join games at any point within games. That's what i mean by seamless.

For instance with xfire, if I'm connected to a different online game, a friend tries to message me to join his game. I can't just easily accept a invite and automatically connect to his server. I would need to disconnect and close that game instance. then use xfire to launch the game again with the ip settings of the server a friend is on. Also with xfire I've had lots of occasions where launching has been broken with game patches or just doesn't even work.

I'd never play a Phantasy Star game because it'll never have an online multiplayer component...something this genre desperately needs.
