So with all the commotion going on about $60 component cables we seem to have lost the real news. Allow me to rectify this. Some of these may be covered already since I'm too lazy to read the pissed on thread through thoroughly.

Why is it that Nintendo fans somehow think that graphics and gameplay (or innovation as they seem to say even before trying the control) are mutually exclusive? I want decent gameplay, 5.1 channel surround sound, high definition graphics and the ability to have differing control methods. That doesn't seem too difficult this day and age.
