Post by friick »

I hate saying wiimote.

Anyway, just wondering, will the majority need the nunchuck or what? My left wrist is fairly screwed, so being able to play games with one hand would be cool.

What's everyone think?

From what I understand most of the Wii "blah" games will be single handed play.

Interesting question 8)

There is certainly a split between games which only require a wiimote, and others that need the nunchuck.

E.g. Wiimote Only: Wii Sports (tennis, golf, baseball), Sonic and the Secret Rings, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam etc.

E.g. Nunchuck Add-on: Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 etc.

Excite Truck is also wiimote only, and I suspect a lot of racing games will be.

I would think that most games that will use the nunchuk wouldn't rely on movement too much, and it'd probably be mainly for moving in-game with the analogue, and only doing flicking/whatever motions at specific spots..
