Yes, hands on impressions. We all get a go. The buzz in media circles for this thing is pretty huge. Looks as though Nintendo Australia are spending plenty on marketing too.

Yeah eff you! Damn nintendo, although 3rd parties will be showing off their wii titles I hear. Which is want I want to play. I have less faith in the 3rd party and want to see how they deal with the new control method.

I was going to go to dvdboxoffice, but the bastards want $150aus to ship it. At the moment i'm eyeing off playasia as they charge around $50 to dhl it to your door. I'd rather keep my toyrus laybuy and pick it up with the free game, but i need to know if it will play my us cube games

haha, yeah I went with dvdboxoffice since once I added in the games the price equated out to be the same price for the console as the aussie version, and around $95 for each game. As shipping for the games when added in was only like a buck or two extra per pop.

i'd go play-asia if they had yank consoles...
I've also got a pre-order down at liksang, waiting to see what price they are charging for the american wii (as they said to expect wanked up prices to get launch units.. fuck that, why should I pay more?) but I'll likely cancel it because I pre-ordered well late as I think the preorders have been open for months, whereas dvdbo opened today.

I think I'll just order the last of my yank games that I wanted from liksang though. I missed out on adding a couple to my dvdbo order because they hadn't updated them at the time and I wanted to get an order in as soon as possible, as dvdbo can be notorious speed-wise if you order late.
