Ever since Activision picked up Guitar Hero publisher RedOctane, many have speculated that Harmonix's wildly popular PlayStation 2 title may eventually be headed to other platforms. It appears those hopes have been confirmed. Activision CEO Robert Kotick, speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia XV Conference, stated that the game will indeed be coming to "every significant new format." In all likelihood, this applies at least to the three next-gen console systems.
Yesterday, rumors emerged from the Gamestation Conference, held by UK retailer Gamestation for its employees, that the upcoming Guitar Hero II (PS2) is headed for Xbox 360 in 2007. Kotick's statement lends credence to those rumors.
Wonder when they're all coming out. I'd much prefer a 360 version than a PS2 one, buuuuuuut if the PS2 one is coming out earlier.... plus I can use my other guitar for 2 player... hmmm.

Wise. I didn't hold off, and not only that, bought a ps2 just so I could play it. Now the Missus won't let me buy a 360! (which was what I really wanted in the first place!)
lol yeah me to i ended up doin cfh and bark at the moon in single player and got 5 stars after all the time of trying lol i was spewin that i wasnt in career to, but i ended up finishing them and had to beat decontrol and manage to do it. i some how dont think ill will get all 5 stars in hard or expert
For sure Mech. If you already have GH+Axe then its a worthy purchase to get GH2+Axe if you have friends who loved playing the first one. However, getting the sequel as your first game but having to buy 2 axes is a bit much on ones pocket. Still, xbl play will be an advantage although not as much fun as two mates jamming together in the same room.
