So to get everyone's mind off the bitching I've decided to hold the Games Ranch Fanboy Awards 2006.

So how's this gonna work?
Nominate your favourite fanboy in this thread. Give some examples of what makes them exemplary to help convince others. The top 5 will then go in for a final vote. I'll get that thread stickied for 4 days before announcing the winner.

Can I nominate myself?
Nope. You must rely on someone else to nominate you.

So what if I nominate someone in exchange for another nomination?
Any two members that nominate each other will nullify each others votes to minimize collusion. The GR factions can get behind a single member though.

How long will nominations go for?
Roughly 48 hours.

And the finals?
Roughly 72 hours.

Any prizes?
Eternal fanboy glory? I might make you a shitty banner.

What criteria should we look for in a fanboy?
Entertainment, education and how well they defend their chosen console (or remain objective depending on whether said fanboy purports to be unbiased)

Does that really matter dick in the scheme of things?
Not really. It was only guidance. Since members simply nominate other members there is no particular judgment according to any criteria.

Could we have a fanboy contest with judges?
What are you? Fucking crazy? Yes. I'm sure that will end well

How do we know this won't this be biased?
ilce isn't involved.
