I have no idea why he would tell you I'm a Sony fan, maybe you misunderstood?

The chances of me owning a PS3 of my own anytime before christmas next year are about 30000:1, while I bought my own X360 on aus launch night (and last generation all I ever did was champion the XBox till they killed it 2 years to early and I realised PS2 would end up with about 5x as many good games).

No, never owned my own PS1, only ended up playing one in desperation after they stopped making games for the Saturn that you could buy locally.

Edit - Also with the PS2, I spent AGES convincing my brother not to buy one when he desperately wanted that game from the ex rare guys (Timesplitters), eventualy he caved but it was years before I had my own PS2.

Once again tho, I had my own XBox at local launch.

Probably cos I'm one of like 3 people on this forum who give them the benefit of the doubt here (eg in that Oblivion thread, assuming that the first pic is just a location without grass as opposed to removing grass from the whole game, I could turn out to be wrong on that but there's no evidence one way or another yet).

I think it's cos I really want them to not fuckup the PS3 cos I know there are a ton of games on it I will have to play and I'd rather the thing was worth the $1k than not.

no I have thought this for a long time, before 360 anyway, I think your mates had a boner for PS3, that might be it.
