I saw this a little while ago.. Banjo's face looks a bit weird now.. it's a wonder they didn't just make him look like the CG render that was used on the box/in promos for the 64 versions.

i like his new look - i was excited about this until they revealed the nature of the game - a collectathon, in true rare style.
well, i hope that's just the rare effect in action - please be a good game - controlling better than kameo please!

from the 10 minutes i played in the shop, it felt klunky and more like driving a car than controlling a character
it left the distinct taste of starfox adventures in my mouth
which, needless to say, isn't a nice one

Woah... well, I put a lot more than 10 minutes into it, and it's probably the best platform game I've played since Jak and Daxter. Stunning graphics, and a ton of fun to bootselfish wrote:from the 10 minutes i played in the shop, it felt klunky and more like driving a car than controlling a character

i liked banjo, but never played twoie
good controls are the first part of any game
if it controls badly, the entire game can be written off
some people just don't know good from bad
see also: people who enjoy unreal over iD games
a camera on a stick doesn't cut the mustard
i'll let the xbots think it's a good game, i'm just that kind of guy i guess
kind and thoughtful and all the rest

mech and S_J are both sony fanboys man, they wouldn't say it controls great unless they really mean it.
and then, both have finished it, you played 10 minutes of it.
plus you're a Nintnedo fanboy so chances are you're still hurting, this is your way of coping... "it isn't good so i'm not missing out on anything!"

Good to see some Kameo love
Im stuck on that frickin eyeball boss.. gah! Define frustration in under 10 words..
Didnt play any of the Banjo games. In fact, only owned a N64 for about 2 days (bought second hand and returned it because it kept resetting)
If the graphics in Conker on xbox are any indication, this could be eye candy central And the 360 needs more family friendly platform style games

mech and sj aren't sony fanboys, they're just not xbots
and they wouldn't know shit from clay when it comes to my opinion on how a game controls
there's this thing called OPINION
call me a fanboy all you want, it doesn't change the fact that i was frustrated by the clunky control in the short time i played it
i am willing to accept that if you play it for more than no time at all it gets good - but continuing to pretend anyone is "hurting" about nintendo offloading rare is plain silly

Mech and S_J are sony fanboys don't worry about that, but they are gamers too, so they both bought xbox360s
I bet you'd call lestat an xbot right? he too buys all systems though.

Fuckoff with this Sony fanboy crap, this place is just full of people who seem to hate Sony with a passion regardless of what they do.
I call things as I see them, that's all. Sometimes right sometimes wrong.
Do you have to be like Lestat and yourself Jizzy to not be a Sony Fanboy? ie Hate everything to do with them all the time?
