Well that seals its fate. I already have southpaw versions available to me on the xbox.

I could use my southpad if people get that excited.

Is there a need for freelook in doom though? I would have thought the controls would be Goldeneye style on consoles, as in on the left stick = forward/back/turn left/turn right.

um you would still bind move/strafe to one stick and look left/right on the other.

I just tried it on my southpad, i'll be tempted if others get it, co-op might be fun.

only prob is my southpad is screwy, my right trigger is always on... in games like oblivion it makes my block all the time, in doom it just means I can't sprint.

I really need to get it fixed.

Umm... just switched off the 360, but if you go into your gamer profile, game options, go to "Action" and there's an option to choose which joystick controls movement.

I always thought freelook ruined doom. Shooting rockets at peoples feet ruined the whole balance of the game.
