HUs can't hog exp because everyone in the immediate area gets EXP.

But HU will still get the most, no? For typically laying the final blow.

Talez I think you should get us invites or give us yours. :D

I don't think exp is based on final blow anymore. I might be wrong but I hope I'm not, PSO's exp system was shit and unfair.

I never had a problem with the exp system in PSO. FOs could easily tag with JZ or a ra-tech. Rangers had plenty of options to hit enemies from afar or spam Spread Needle type weapons up close. HUs had to get in close to get any exp, and they put themselves in more danger in doing so, so the extra xp was deserved.

Yeah I didn't really care either, I think I was just asking for the sake of asking. I was very content with sitting back, standing still and pressing shoot a lot. Got most of my S ranks this way; thanks Japan. Damn those rifle range mechs were such a find for me. My entire PSO experience would have been a completely different things if not for that 1 weapon.

It was a bit of a pain I found; but here's the guide I used:

http://www.saint-ism.com/2012/03/so-you ... beta-test/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Note a small mistake though. A step 8, Terms and Conditions, I encountered a text entry line above the "Press this button to accept" button. I was stuck for what to do, and just tried plugging the invite code into it. It worked, that's what you have to do.

As far as I can tell, the above is what gets you a JP Sega ID and hooks that up with the PSO 2 beta. Then you need the client:

http://pso2.jp/cbt/manual/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Note that this simply wouldn't log in with my new Sega ID until I had gotten past that invite code confusion I had had earlier. Anyway, it's the big fat red shiny button. It's a series of numbered steps (which I didn't even notice until now) and they all have pictures, so um, looks ok. I haven't completed these steps yet because the installer is really struggling to download the thing. Not because it's slow, but because it stops literally every 5 minutes and I have to tell it to resume. Yes it's annoying, but almost there.

Damn I hate tutorial levels that teach you s*** like how to jump.

Madyma:
Specs for the alpha:

As mentioned before these specs are only for the alpha. What that means is it is a test version of the game before it enters the final testing stage (I know, wtf). It's almost certain the minimum reqs will go up for the finished version of the game, probably not by much, but it's worth noting.
Spoiler!

o Windows XP 32bit
o Windows Vista / Windows 7 32bit or 64bit
o Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 or higher
o RAM: Windows XP 1.5GB or higher
o RAM: Windows Vista / Windows 7: 2GB or higher
o HDD 8GB or higher
o NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT or similar graphics card or higher
o DirectX 9.0c or higher
o Broadband connection
