PS3 numbers so few, even Sony can't find 10 for launch day

Post by amba »

Sony are having a competition in the US for 10 lucky people to go to the PS3 launch and get a console. Shame the small print says that they have to wait up to 20 weeks for delivery... :)

That's a lot of stock to be having sitting around in warehouses and on store shelves. It's like seeing the launch day cubes still on the shelf at david jones lol.

MS managed to get a lot of 360s out to comp winners before launch, remember the xbox every 10 minutes comp? they probably fucked the launch a bit.

I dunno.. going by the craziness that was the DS Lite launch (I got the last one in Adelaide after it was out for only a week!), I'd say they'll sell quite a few of those millions of consoles...

Christmas time is going to be a winner for 360/Wii this year in australia. I really think that the ps3 is going to play catchup for at least a year in oz.
