360 COD3 the version to get.

The graphics in the PS3 version look pretty damn good. The game doesn't run as smoothly as the Xbox 360 version (not yet, anyway- it runs at 30 frames per second instead of 60)

ouch, i think mech mentioned that activision were having issues with the PS3 version before, we have some more confirmation. I hear tony hawk 8 is the same situation, 60fps on 360 and 30fps on ps3. At least from reports the ps3 has online play which considering cod3 has a bigger focus on mp is a must.

nobody knows anything about ps3 online anyway, 360 version was always a must for that reason alone.

My unbiasedness is shining through.

The PS3 version sounds like a bit of a dog. It's a no-brainer which version to get, especially with the PS3 delay

This is the one that looks like a high res XBox game, but with nice animation yeah?

Jesus, either PS3 is super gimped or Activision are horribly incompetent, that's shocking...

As for COD3 if you're buying this game and you post on this forum you're crazy not to get the 360 version, it will have the larger community by far.. Even if the framerates were reversed it would be smarter to get the 360 version imo.

16th of November is the local release date for it here. Obviously you won't see the ps3 version till next march.

Do we know if the Tony Hawk 8 is in 1080p? Stil, there's no excuse for it being at 30fps.

Well shit... THPS4 ran in 1080i on the original Xbox. No excuse for the PS3

The only activision game confirmed 1080p is marvel ultimate alliance. Tony Hawk 8 is 720p last i heard on both machines.
