As Pointy sez, it's awesome. Short but brilliant.

Never heard of it but checking out the demo. Reviews make it sound awesome.

Even the demo is fucking unreal. Completely different content from the full game.

Just Cause 2 on Steam for $3 US, for the next 33 hours.
Or get it with a heap of DLC and JC1 thrown in for $6 US.

$50 goes a long way on Steam right now -

Batman Arkham Origins
Max Payne 3
Orange Box

Yeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhh keen to see what Half Life 2 is like on Master Race, I only played it on 360.

I hate these steam sales; they devalue the games and make it feel like a Dreamcast utopia CD. I can see the service holding some value for people with multiple kids or limited income and a huge amount of time to throw at games they couldn't afford otherwise.

But for anyone who buys games they want on release, no value at all.

It makes you buy games you don't need.

Strike three Candy. I don't think anyone said it was shit, just people are saying it's not as holy shitballs amazing as other people are touting it to be. :orly:

Awesome game. Max is voiced like a pro. Will push your rig and reward you with sumptuous visuals. Hard as nails (for me anyway).

The key takeaway from this clusterfuck is that I can either pay for a shit service with forced games I wont ever play or get amazing service with cheap games of my choosing that I get to keep.

Thanks for clearing that up SDF! Master Race with a side of Xbone still the leader in gaming value.

Wow...knock the fairly shitty PS+ service and the SDF start comparing it to LIVE. Now they want to compare PS+ to Steam.

Discounting something you can own forever seems like a great bargain to me. You even have choice. How is paying for a "free" game you'll never own even remotely comparable to Steam or LIVE. As evil as MS are, even they don't pull that kind of shit. Bubububu we get to try games for free that we ignored beforehand.

Spilling into an unrelated thread.

The butthurt is strong with the SDF today.

If you're using an SDF comparison chart, yes.
