The excellent Risen. Well worth it if you like your janky RPGs.t0mby wrote:It was $5 mid June.
What is the current Communities Choice game? Says it's not valid in my region, yet prior to this we could vote on all three. I think I chose Two Worlds II.
Very tempted by Pro Cycling Manager for $20

PCM 2009 is $9.99 and PCM 2008 is $4.99 is you're undecided.
Risen isn't there anymore for me, it's Borderlands. 20 odd minutes left and I can't decide.

It's been on sale two or three times during this sale. It would've been harder to buy it when it wasn't on sale than when it was.

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
Just finished Episode 2 (in time for F1!) and yes this shit is fantastic!!! I am going to run 2 saves for this I think making different choices the second time around. Ep 3 isn't due for around a month so I've got plenty of time to take another run through the first two eps.t0mby wrote:The Walking Dead is great Candy, definitely worth playing through each part in one sitting at a time (roughly 3hrs each ep). I picked up the Season Pass for PS3 and have enjoyed both so far (and I've never seen the show, nor know anything about the comics).

Picked up rage and more importantly arma 2 for dayz...I've been watching sidestrifes videos of his dayz shit since the start but funny enough I enjoy it so much because it felt almost like some whacked out show

Played some Crusader Kings II last night, had the opportunity to marry my dead fathers ex-wife who was 50 years his junior. Which would make me the stepfather of my step brother who was born 45 years after me.

I've taken screengrabs of all my choices from the summary at the end. Once Ep 5 comes out and I've finished that then I will run through it again.Candy Arse wrote:Just finished Episode 2 (in time for F1!) and yes this shit is fantastic!!! Did you know Telltale have confirmed they're going to do another season next year? The has been one of their most successful episodic releases yet.
Day Z is awesome. It also shows publishers that gamers want a bit more freedom. A lot of these big publishers will be showing a lot of interest in how a free mod can still bring in massive sales for a 2 yo game. ArmA II has been in the top 5 games on Steam in NZ since DayZ came out, even #1 for quite a few weeks.Pariah wrote:Picked up rage and more importantly arma 2 for dayz...I've been watching sidestrifes videos of his dayz shit since the start but funny enough I enjoy it so much because it felt almost like some whacked out show

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
The Walking Dead has me intrigued. A pop up popped up after I finished a session of L4D2. Hadn't heard about it previously. Zombie games, movies seem so very old to me and yet this comes across looking fresh and interesting.

Yep. I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't like it. Like going to a dry museum.

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
I have a memory of purchasing Dear Esther, but I can't remember if it was for myself or to give away. Think it was only $2 and I snapped after hearing a lot of positives about it. Sounds like one of those under appreciated gems.

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
Yeh I bought it when it was super cheap. Its got some amazing looking places (especially for the source engine). I... Didnt mind playing it, though i certainly didnt get the story. Ive been meaning to play through it again coz apparently u get different story pieces. Not bad for only a few bux but it didnt blow my mind unfortunately.

Re: Steam sale - what have you picked up?
That's a pretty fucking good deal... for a game I paid ~$30 for a few months ago but still haven't played yet.
Also, Faster Than Light is now out. $9 on GOG, should be on Steam soon (if not already).
