Very impressive. Better on PC than Nitnedno's own hardware.

Being a fake was obvious, was far too technologically advanced for Nintendo

Still not buying a pc.Great news for those who use It for gaming. I support the makers of the games and playing the official stuff on a bus. Piracy is what killed pc Gaming and the reason f2p is the only model that Works there. Console survives due to actual paying customers. The moment Games are free, the closer things Get to being like mobile Gaming. IE shallow gameplay. PS Vita and PC is Great for Indie scenę mostly. Unfortunately you wońt need amazing specs to Play stuff like minecraft/terraria so the Best ones Get ported to peasant platforms eventually anyway.
Two best Games of 2017 were zelda botw and persona 5 and Both released on last gen machines. Poor guys have no excuse not to buy those sińce they were not on high end machines.

LeBron James’ latest obsession is a Nintendo Switch he got for Christmas

https://cavsnation.com/cavs-news-lebron ... do-switch/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Nobody is doubting the competitive spirit of LeBron James when it comes to basketball. The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar is still regarded as the best basketball player in the world, even though Kevin Durant is slowly creeping in close to him.

As it turns out, the competitiveness of James extends into the gaming world. In Episode 65 of the Road Trippin’ Podcast, it’s was mentioned that the Cavs forward bought a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and he has been “playing Mario Kart religiously” since.

The sight of a 6-foot-8 freak of nature highly engrossed in a small device, as he plays a plumber and other caricatures in a race, is quite amusing to imagine.

But this isn’t something that can tarnish the image of the best basketball player today. In fact, it can only help his image — not to mention the push that Nintendo gets once word spreads about James’ fixation.

It only proves that James is not just a well-oiled machine that is very efficient on the court and in the gym. He also enjoys the simple things such video games, Mario Kart to be exact. It is an endearing image.

It’s understandable that someone so passionate about one thing can look into other things, whether for recreation, rest, or just for the sake of trying other things out.

After all, the NBA has a rigorous schedule, and a good way to disconnect for a moment is to do something else.

James is averaging 27.3 points, eight rebounds, and 8.8 assists this season for the defending East champion Cavs.

Edit:

It has just been reported that both Joy Cons have broken in his hands and he has been sent to hospital to get the Joy Con strap’s surgically removed. The Switch dock isn’t in good shape either. It crumbled under his immense weight when he attempted to weigh himself on it (turns out he was a big fan of Wii Fit). He also wasn’t impressed of the bitter-tasting Mario Kart.

Love the idea, hate the cardboard. They at least could have used a material that is more durable. Knowing my kids, it wouldn't last 3 play sessions.

Nintendo Labo combines the magic of Nintendo Switch with the fun of DIY creations

Introducing Nintendo Labo, a new line of interactive build-and-play experiences designed to inspire kids and those who are kids-at-heart. Building on the 129-year history of Nintendo, which is rooted in innovative entertainment and game-play experiences, Nintendo Labo continues the company’s mission of putting smiles on people’s faces.

Together with the Nintendo Switch system (sold separately), the Nintendo Labo kits provide the tools and technology to MAKE fun DIY creations, PLAY games with your creations and DISCOVER how the magic of Nintendo Switch technology shapes ideas into reality.

With each Nintendo Labo kit, kids can transform modular sheets of cardboard – specially designed to interact with the Nintendo Switch console and Joy-Con controllers – into creations called Toy-Con. From a piano to a motorbike, a robot and more, each Toy-Con comes to life when combined with Nintendo Switch in different ways. As you build, you will have fun discovering how the technology works, and might even invent new ways to play with each Toy-Con!

For example, you can build a functioning 13-key piano that brings your musical creations to life once the Nintendo Switch console and Right Joy-Con controller are inserted. As you play, the IR Motion Camera in the Right Joy-Con detects which keys are pressed and translates them into unique notes that are heard through the console. You can even take control of your very own motorbike by constructing a functioning set of handlebars, with a Joy-Con inserted in each side and the Nintendo Switch console cradled in the middle. Simply hit the ignition button, turn the right handle to engage the accelerator and watch your adventure unfold on the Nintendo Switch screen, as you race to new destinations.

“Nintendo Labo continues our longstanding mission of making people smile by surprising them with new experiences,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America's President and COO. “It is an exciting evolution of the Nintendo Switch platform – one designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and imagination in people of all ages."

With Nintendo Labo, building is just as much fun as playing. Every Toy-Con creation presents exciting challenges and varying degrees of complexity, making each one a unique experience. Building Toy-Con is especially fun with family and friends, as you collaborate and share each other’s Nintendo Labo experiences. Once built, you can customize your Toy-Con creations with your own markers, stickers and paint to give them a personal touch – the only limit is your imagination!

Nintendo Labo launches on April 20 with two kits: the Variety Kit and the Robot Kit. With the Variety Kit, you can create many different Toy-Con, including two Toy-Con RC Cars, a Toy-Con Fishing Rod, a Toy-Con House, a Toy-Con Motorbike and a Toy-Con Piano. With the Robot Kit, you can build an interactive robot suit with a visor, backpack and straps for your hands and feet, which you can then wear to assume control of a giant in-game robot. Both kits include everything you need to assemble your Toy-Con creations, including the building materials and relevant Nintendo Switch software. The Variety Kit will be available at a suggested retail price of $69.99, and the Robot Kit will be available at a suggested retail price of $79.99. A special Customization Set that includes fun stencils, stickers and colored tape will also be available to purchase on April 20 at a suggested retail price of $9.99.

That's great, Nintendo ruining the environment by increasing the demand of cardboard.

Next up Plastic Bag-Con.

The more I learn about Nintendo Labo, the more I believe it's going to be a global phenomenon (the hand-on impressions from the media have been AMAZING).

It's already reached number one on Amazon's best selling video game list and the trailer (that lestat posted above) has already had more than 5 MILLION VIEWS in under 24 hours. Nintendo's stock market capitalisation also increased by 1.4 BILLION DOLLARS since yesterday's announcement.

Nintendo are really putting a lot of time and money into making sure this is a success, and are also going to open up "Labo Workshops" around the world for parents/kids to attend and discover more about how Labo works. :)

What I find incredible, is just how technically innovative all these cardboard toys are. Nintendo have found a way to utilise all of the Switch's technology (touch screen, speakers, motion sensors, force/haptic feedback, IR camera, bluetooth, NFC chip, etc) and to merge them with cardboard to make fun & innovative toys. :P

Take the piano for instance, where you literally have to DRAW & CUT OUT YOUR OWN SINE GRAPH FOR PITCH SHIFTING...

Image

Out of all the Nintendo Labo Toy-Cons we've seen so far, it seems the piano might be the most sophisticated. There's lot of fancy stuff going on inside with the Toy-Con itself and the use of the Joy-Con IR camera to create sound through key presses. The mechanics seem pretty deep, and now we know you can take things even further with your own drawings.

With the piano Toy-Con, you'll be able to draw and cut out your own sine graph. You can than slot it into the piano, then hold down a key for the IR camera to read what you've drawn. This will then adjust the note pitch for a different type of sound.

With this Switch emulator in the works, what Switch games are we most looking forward to playing in superior form on PC?

For me it'll be Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (this will really benefit from 4K 60fps) and Bayonetta 3
