Megaman announcement is actually kinda disapointing. I would have preferred that Megaman as a brand was going to be relaunched. In the same way Megaman X was to Megaman. I was hoping we'd see a new megaman series sort of like how they did with Megaman ZX series. (which was pointing more towards the metroid vania style of gameplay like Castlevania SOTN)

I like the 8 bit guy, but the future of Megaman is in the metroidvania genre now just like how castlevania evolved from linear arcadey action towards being more of an ARPG.

Give us a sequel to Mighty Final Fight instead. So many 8-bit style indie platformers already flood the market and I would rather see it evolve the way the GBA and NDS castlevania games did by giving us a world (not mere levels) to explore. Memory is so abundant that the games don't need to fit into tiny NES carts anymore and can look closer to high res neo geo games like metal slug with amazing set piece bosses. (see metal slug 7 on NDS for example) No ambition in capcom anymore..It's not enough to give people more of the stuff. A franchise must evolve a bit with the tech of the day. (like street fighter)
