Interview from gamereactor:

It's good to hear Pondsmith is a anime watcher back when you were seen as the weird guy for watching "japanese cartoons" as they used to call it by the outsiders who were shocked there was so much horrific violence in the shows. We have seen a drop in quality anime since the end of the anime boom of the 1980s. I wonder if CD PRojekt Red will put some easter eggs to popular science fiction animes in the game? The new Mekton 0 game sounds pretty cool. Will he work with model kit makers to create his own line of model kits which you can buy? Perhaps he will put these mechas in the CyberPunk game as say a minigame you can play when you walk into an arcade (ie like playing sega games in Shenmue?)

some info on classes:

The idea of non-combat classes sounds interesting. You could do that stuff in daggerfall by creating your own classes and using persuasion and linguistics to avoid conflict with certain monsters and people. When you fight it's only a last resort to survive. This will be interesting on replays for those sick of killing their way through everything in RPG all the time. The Torment games also let you avoid repetition of fighting. There are other ways to fight for example negotiation or manipulating others to get what you need by having contacts and stuff and/or money to pay people to do it if they don't want to do things for free. People who just want to play for story can let followers do stuff.
