Lepo and I kept getting lumped in with Germans.

I bailed and focused on completing some single player, I haven't had enough time with the game over the last few weeks. All you guys are a billion levels ahead of me.

I'm surprised at the party limitations myself.

Froggy - get a headset. Join party chat. You need particular vehicles and to be able to communicate with us. We have Jeep races. We'll be having Combi events. Datsun races.

The game is broken, the menu does not do what it says its going to do.

There are definitely issues with the online. Hopefully they fix it soon. As it is I've managed to get in each week but with some difficulty. The constant join freeroam option popping up is too confusing because if you don't read the banner, you'll just join another group rather than joining what you think is a party game. There's no way around that one.

Way too fun and too early to shitbin it though. I'm going to spend some time this week trying to figure out the nuances of joining and setting up our room..

I'd like confirmation from Chaos that the game has some issues though.

Speaking as a host, I've had no problems joining my own room.

I joined through the "Friends" menu the "Lines" menu and through direct invite and got that fucking German every time. This is not user error or users being unfamiliar with the game this needs patching.

No dispute, it needs patching. I'm saying the banner option for joining things is also too confusing. And the back out to freeroam to join another game is also more confusing than it needs to be.

For next week I propose the following;

1. In the interest of narrowing down the variables we dispose of the "Chat Party" all together. If it's limited to 8 then its useless at the moment.
2. We only use the "Game Party" even though the voice quality may be less or even terrible. It's NOT limited to 8.
3. The host waits for all players that are online at 8:30pm to join the room before starting an event.
4. If people are having trouble joining we help them join rather than leave them out, listening to the rest play the game.
5. People can join through the Friends List / Direct Invite / The lines menu NOT the "Chat Party" refer point 1.
6. If after 15minutes of trying to get all that are present in the one room there are still people not connected we move on regardless.

I also suggest that the host or some designated "puller" starts a party so that they can talk to people who are having problems joining and pull them into the game via the party. Once you're in the game, you leave our get kicked from the party.

I concur, and put forward that Chaos be the "puller" since he has so often displayed the necessary qualities to fit that job description.

Ok, I had my headset but thouggt chat must be restricted to club members then once in the club I still couldnt hear! I figured everyone was talking when u guys kept having the same car, I couldnt get back in once u guys kicked me as its not allowed by the game.. ill join party chat this monday
