Weekly GR Texas Hold'Em league?

From the PGR3 session thread, DJ Bi9 K gave me the idea to perhaps setup a weekly GR THE league?
This thread is to poll interest and figure out the most popular weeknight for it.
We could have a ladder and points structure for weekly placings. Make suggestions.

So, who's up for it? What is your preferred night and time? Any suggestions on points structure and ladder?

I'm in. (I'm happy to run the ladder too).
Any night except Sundays is good with me.
Any time up to 10pm Sydney time for starts.

How about 10 points for first, 6 points for second, 3 points for third, and one point for everyone who shows up and doesn't place?

Texas holdem is pretty easy to pick up. Probably why there are so many tv shows based around it. One of the better party pokers.

I'm definately in. That points system sounds decent enough, we can tweak it if it doesn't seem like it it working. Wed/Thursday nights for me could possibly mean I am only available after 10 (changes weekly). Friday nights I'm pretty much out for, as with Saturday. Monday or Tuesday would probably be the best for me. Out of Wed and Thursday, Thursday is the best for me.

Cletus, I'm sure that many people here (myself included) would be happy to fill you in on some of the finer points of the game, though the more you play the more you will learn the little intricacies.

You'd dig this game the most man. I just had the most amazing game just then. There was a big mouth yank in the room. He managed to clear the room with his smacktalk and off the table antics. Then when it was down to me and two yanks, they basically ganged up on me. I took them both out. Awesome stuff.

Anyhow. I'll stick something up in the next few days as far as a GR league.

There has been an udate, and the tables have been wiped again, so it seems like there is a great mix of players in the 'tard rooms again.
