apparently I betrayed you or something
here's the story.
I was told our old RS3 team were getting back together to play in the RSV comp, this was like a week ago, I thought it would be fun and said yes.
that's all there is to it!
I wasn't planning anything, I wasn't being sneaky about it, I didn't lie to anyone... i'm thinking you talked about it and made something out of nothing.
I admit I was lazy in telling you I was playing for another team but that's only because I thought it wasn't an issue.
I even tried to contact cletus when the host wasn't up to scratch.
I said something so it would be resolved, it has been.
but it sounds like people are dissapointed and that bothers me, my friends here have priority over clan matches.
I just thought it'd be fun to play a few matches with the old crew, nothing more nothing less.
i'm not a cowboy now, fine, I know the rules... just don't go thinking I betrayed you.
cheers.

I'll go.
Ok Jiz,I understand that's the perspective you have.I'll give you the perspective of people on TC who own the game and would have put their hand up to play in a flash.
You knew the comp was on and nobody else on TC did.
For a week or more prior to the comp starting you and your new team formed and entered the comp without once mentioning it in the cellar giving your own team an opportunity to play and I guarantee you we have the numbers.I also guarantee you that TC would have entered the competition. You told us after we couldn't register to play. After the competition begun.Ask yourself how that would fly with you if that were another member in exactly the same situation.Being Rainbow,I know you'd be quite unimpressed.
If you put that into the bargain you wouldn't have been able to form or play on your new team.Rules are rules and you were one of the most vocal about the one team rule.
I know it might seem spiteful to remove you from the cellar and demod you but Cowboys run the mod spots. You'll notice you still have normal access and Freemason access. You're also free to play on CRAPS.
I know it's fair to say I speak for a number of Cowboys.

i'm not saying it's spiteful or unfair cletus.
the only bit i'm concerned about is the way you have taken it, that's what I care about.
I don't think I knew about the comp more than a week before it started, and I had no thoughts of playing in it anyway.
yeah I should've did this and that, I get it, but I didn't have any thoughts of letting anyone down.

First offence, potentially mitigating circumstances, and a history of being an upstanding citizen. I think he should receive a slap on the wrist, a turkey slap, or whatever is the norm around here...and then be returned back into the community. Low chance of recidivism.
(this from my corner of the peanut gallery - of course I have no real idea what this is all about)

This has been a difficult situation.
It could have been so easily avoided.
When the decision was made I agreed simply because if it were anyone else or the situation arose again,we'd be hard pressed to act accordingly if acceptions were made this time around. We really only have one rule for TC and that was it.If we stick to the facts and avoid conjecture, the one rule was clearly broken.
Personally I doubt there was malice in it...more likely an oversight or a convenient ommission.
Let's just look at the situation after your current comp ends. You might find that playing for Craps is what you want to do anyway.Who knows.

Hey boys,
This doesn't need its own thread, I just want to let you guys know I've left the cowboys (about a week ago, when my gamertag changed) simply because I play GoW multiplayer and Splinter Cell mainly, and don't have much of an interest in Rainbow (sacrilege!) or COD3......... I'm guessing a few guys came to this conclusion already since my cellar priviledges have been removed.....
