Played the Smackdown demo, and man it's heading even more into King of Colosseum territory with the light/strong grapples on top of the various counters and manual fatigue recovery.

The game feels too fast for its own good though. It's the speed of an arcade game that's trying to play more like a sim. Feels weird.

60fps.

A very succinct and accurate appraisal.

I have been suprisingly impressed by the RawVSmackdown demo.
Couldn't get into Lego Star wars. Frustrating game imo.

I've just got no patience for the puzzles to get through to the next bit.
I jumped Luke over some fence, and I seemed to be stuck behind there. I got mad. Exited, then deleted.

I'll get to play the full game a lot since my brother is a fanboy and I'll borrow his copy, but there's no denying the game is slowly going in the right direction. But that said, the game won't be a patch on the KoC and Fire Pros of the world.

They have the WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 demo out now, fuckgin awesome!!!!

I played it for just over 2hrs today. Cant wait for it!!

I was a bit blah on smackdown v raw at first but after extensive play I am liking it. It feels more like the wrestling that you see on tv. My problem with previous titles was that the pacing was all wrong and it was just a bunch of big stupid moves. The new stamina system really changes the pace of the game and makes you want to wear down your opponent and then use a finishers. I love the hot spots too. Taking them into the crowd and using the speaker stacks is classic. I can't wait to see the hot spots for hell in a cell.

Tried the NFS Carbon demo. Shit framerate, Overdone motion blur, shitty road textures, no AA, stale NFS:U/MW gameplay rolled into one. Definite pass.

Look it sucks, but it doesn't suck balls. Thrashing your arms like a zombie hurts, and from what I've played so far, the game requires a precision that the control method doesn't have. But I'm sure that a lot of people who don't play games say that about the regular controller.

A little bit like Marble Blast Ultra, but with platform elements.
