Oh wow, the games room is more terrible than I thought. I thought you would get to walk around your arcade and look at things... nope, it's pretty much just a menu. There are two download packs for FREE!!! As much as they want you to think they are free so you download them, you discover you still have to pay for the individual titles you have just downloaded. It puts them into the showcase arcade which you can then have a single session demo which then removes the demo option and asks you to pay for a single session. Buying the game is the smarter option but the games are so old they are just a nice memory and not worth the money. As ground breaking as Adventure on the 2600 is... I don't think I want to pay money for it. It's pretty much unplayable by today's standards. So far, games from the late 70's and early 80's aren't going to cut it. I'd like to see some Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja, but with the rating restrictions on what games they are including, we'll never see the good titles.

Waste of time and space.

My thoughts exactly.

I'd buy Rygar for 240 points but I'm not paying for something 30yrs old that I wouldn't play more than once.

PS. Bade dudes vs Dragon Ninja isn't much better with its short mission.

Wok wok, heapsa wok wok.

Yeah it was mentioned briefly on Major Nelson's latest podcast. That would be amazing.

Or even MD or SMS games. Or anything released more recently than five millions years ago.

game room isn't off to a good start, I don't care what retro lovers like gamm0r say, I think old games suck balls!

none of those games are even worth playing, so who'd buy that old shit?

Wow. You guys are far too critical.
I reckon it is well thought out, and shows a lot of potential as a retro platform.

Sure the games that are available now are garbage, but it'll be awesome when you've got a room full of your favorites.

And without having even seen Home, I'm confident that this is a million times better.

I actually would have preferred a place you could walk around in. It's really just a pretty menu. Has anyone bought any games for this yet? I want to know how going to someone else's arcade works.

I went to your arcade - it was empty. Please buy some more games before my next visit.

Free night vision goggles for your avatar

Valid until sunday.

If for some reason you have already paid for them they are giving you your points back.

They are the MW2 goggles.

Also use this code to get a free weber prop: 9XBX9 9RCD9 9BCK9 9PRTY 9RCKZ

And click this to get a free Bing shirt: http://www.bing.com/search?q=xbox+avata" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... &form=QBRE

I can't wait until the majority of my friends list is cooking a steak with night vision goggles on, wearing a promotional Bing search engine t-shirt.
