Which ISP has unmetered XBL bandwidth? If the movies on demand thing takes off with a sizeable and current selection, and at a decent price, I might consider jumping ship.

So I was reading up on iiNet and saw this at Whirlpool:Cletus wrote:LIVE downloads don't go toward my quota.t0mby wrote:Movies on demand, lol. There goes your data cap.
Meanwhile, Sky on X360 is the new thing here in UK
Yes, iinet.
That makes it sound like anything that you have to pay for (Games on Demand? DLC?) is still counted toward your quota. Hardly worth me switching if that's the case.http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-re ... =-1#bottom
Hey all,
Did iinet recently change their Xbox Live Freezone rules? I don't recall seeing the 'no paid for content' appearing before but maybe I just never read it right...
Hopefully they'll change that, otherwise I worry that I might have to move ISPs (only if another ISP provides more bandwidth at a better price.)
iinet has saved me reaching my cap (I'd always max out when there was a month of many demos) but the 'no paid for content' rule is going to make the Movies on Demand feature worthless. One HD movie (~6gb?) is going to almost max out my bandwidth. Heck, even on the highest plan it's not like you're going to get many movies anyway (especially given the assumption that you're on a high plan and downloading lots to start with!)
On the other hand maybe the movies will be poo and the feature won't be worth using anyway.

I'm looking at some SSHD screenshots and I can't understand how this was ever released. It looks like what you'd get if you gave a year 7 class an assignment on character design.

That's some fuckin funny advertising shit!
MK2: SS was released in 2001 (I think?) and it was freakin awesome fun back then (and a budget title). Put graphics = win. Besides, I don't think they're aiming for GOTY
There are sooo many shooters to play all of a sudden... I'll pick this one up later I reckon.

I'm just saying everything about it looks like a highschool assignment by the emo kids in class thinking they're being all ironic.Burnzoire wrote:MK2: SS was released in 2001 (I think?) and it was freakin awesome fun back then (and a budget title). There's a free chocobo you can get if you register on xbox.com somewhere. I'll try and find the link for you.GreyWizzard wrote:Pets are coming to the Avatar market place. The end is nigh!
