FRICKEN YEAH! WORMS!
Just got off a 3 hour sesh, and this gets the double thumbs up from me.
Played through about 7 of the single player missions. Played a couple of random single players. Did the training - a bit of a bore for worms veterens, then pwned some worms n00bs in online 4 player.

w00p w00p w00p. Worms finally on XBL.
A worms fan dream come true.

Fuck this game is good.

It certainly has its Live problems though. I was hosting a few matches and my team names weren't displaying properly (two worms were my custom names, two were wtf). And I just tried to host a match after successfully hosting a few, but it wouldn't let me invite anyone (still, it saves me from staying up til 2am). Lots of people on the forums are reporting problems hosting matches.

Anyway, did I say how good this game is?

my worms names show up as 'naughty' because they have the word 'jizz' in them.

reallly bummed out too, my jizz allstars will have to be changed, no more paris jizzton, and i'm REALLY bummed jizzona doesn't show

britany jearz works tho.

There is a lobby after match/match restarts if you edit a scheme or create your own. Change the amount of rounds. 3 rounds means first to 2 wins, 5 rounds, first to 3 wins etc etc.

after all the rounds were over, it just went straight to the live menu. I'd say that = no lobby.

Turns out that my Worms naming problem (and Grey's problem with his team name coming up as "Rebels" last night) is as a result of the Live profanity filter, and people over at the Team 17 forums are reporting strange results including "Engineer" and "Colonel Cow" both falling foul of the filter. That explains why my equally innocuous names were being replaced. Pretty cunting shit.

I had a Twin Peaks team where "Agent Cooper" and "that midget" were deemed too offensive. I'll grant that midget is possibly borderline, but the first one has me stumped.
