Live ID and Gamertag

Hurro bois and gurls!

Beer Belly AU, my old gamertag, has now bitten the dust. Irrecoverable apparently. So I started BeeBee AU. Problem is, the former is attached to my hotmail account which also doubles as my MSN account.

So I had a nice little chat with Mr Ray Gun earlier and he suggested that I try re-shuffling the email and gamertag link with the end result of having BeeBee linked to my hotmail account, and Beer Belly to some other (bogus) account.

Then I read this and my heart sunk:

Is there a way to get around it?

Thats arse. My current MSN is linked to my old xbl accouint which I couldnt recover. My current xbl acc is linked to my NZ email addy which I dont use because of the amount of spam (Same email addy for 10yrs now so its on a few spam lists I think). Atleast I can use it to sign into Windows Live websites, but only if its not an IE browser otherwise it will constantly keep signing out one or the other.

If only I had a PS3 then I wouldnt have to worry about this.
