Forza Friday - see OP for details

It was suggested we make a thread in the XBL forum about this so here it is. Who's up for a Ranch bash this Friday night? Weve had the game at least a week so hopefully everyone now has a few decent cars to race in, if you havent been spending all your time in the paint shop.

A few guidlines for GR Forza Friday:

* Start about 6:30 EST until whenever
* May be multiple rooms depending on numbers (max 8 per room)
* FULL DAMAGE WILL BE ON. THIS IS NOT GOTHAM, ANYONE ACTING LIEK A DICKHEAD WILL BE TRAETED ACCORDINGLY!
* There will be at least one 3 lap race of the Nurburgring in R1 cars

Cars:
We have been racing in mainly A class cars as this seems to be not too fast, not too slow. You can select from any car from your arcade or career garage but bear in mind the stock cars are generally not as competitive as cars that have been done up and tuned. Try to have a variety of cars from each class before entering the lobby otherwise you will have to quit out to make any modifications.

Count me in. What time Friday we lookin' at? My nights out usually start after 9:30, so we'll have to kick it off around 7-7:30ish if that's okay

Forza Friday begun last week anyway right Juz.

Me, you, Ramzorz, Grey, Chaos, and Agonny already set the precendent.
I was also in a semi-Ranch F2 room last night with Madmya and Cloudy.

I am absolutely all over Forza Friday. Most Fridays, I'm all good for it, however, I have to give this week a miss - prior commitments.

I'll be there on Friday anyway. Man I'm sick of racing randoms online, everyone has a fucking faster car than me. And no, it's only partly because I suck. I'm only competitive when a single car is chosen for everyone.

It's crazy. When playing single player, I'm way more technical. Working the corners and cutting fractions of seconds off lap times. Then I get online and I'm all like WAAHOOO!

Awesome! I guess that unless you're playing against folks who are dead serious (ie people not from the Ranch) you can be a little cowboy in yer driving. Unreal.

Can't wait to unleash my Class A MR2.

I'll be in for this, most likely starting pretty late though 9:30-10ish.

Do we want to lay down categories first? Or should everyone just aim to bring a competitive A, B, C & D class car?

That's probably easiest for a fixed night. For individual cars (I see an MR2 comp happening soon

) they can be organised ad-hoc, I guess.

I reckon we need two races, one for the serious drivers with full damage, and one for the bullshit drivers with no damage but maximum fun

Actually, maybe we can alternate, or decide on the night? I know I'd love to give a red hot go of a simulation race, but would enjoy a bullshit one more.

Okay, I'm... out. Turns out my mum's 60th birthday is actually Friday, not tomorrow. So, tomorrow night is in for sure, but Friday is a definite no-fly zone

I would be in, but I got given a shitload of work on Thurs/Fri/Sat, 14hr days at the Millinium Dome FTL!

Besides, I dont want to play with Ags again, sorry mate, but two races with you is enough for me.
