Accidents happen and they can be funny for sure but if people want to have maximum carnage I stand by my statement go play a different game. Infact I would actively encourage them to go buy a PS3 and motorstorm so not only are they not in my loby they aren't on XBL at all.
I prefer damage off. Simulation damage always has at least 2-3 good racers basically out of the race on the first corner because their car is completely rooted.

I was listening to the gamespot podcast, and they came up with an awesome set of racing rules. Basically, if you're leading, you're not allowed to use your brakes. I'd love to try that out haha...
I prefer the base level of damage that the game offers when you first boot it up. It means you can still stuff up but have a bigger window before you are limping.
I was just happy to make it to level 19 last night! Awesome racing, though... and I can't wait to take on the 'ring with a B or C class car to appreciate the scenery a bit better. Well, the rest of the track with the exception of that corner... got a pretty good view of that

Agreed. I really enjoy the crashes too, so it takes a certain amount of self control to not go full speed into the side of a car on a turn. However it generally ruins the race when everyone is not up for that sort of thing, and t totally devalues to awesomeness of genuine crashes.
I'll probably be on (much) later... say, around 11pm or so. If no-one's there, I'll earn some cash money on Career mode. Either way, Forza akshun tonight.
