Ace Combat 6 demo is up!!!!

Unlike most of you, I knew what to expect given that its a modern fighter based game and I liked what I saw.

I liked it but I'd also prefer a Crimson or Rogue Squadron type of flying fighter.

Holy fuck, this looks good! How the hell did they fit it into 300MB? All demos should be that small, ffs!

It's on 360 because Sony told them they had to fill the bluray with textures....

or not...

Anyhow I'm sure the game is compelling but I like my slower more tactical get in and dirty dogfighters. So I definately wont be rushing out to buy this at near full price.

Fuck tactics. Missile on your tail? Afterburners, rapid vertical acceleration, barrel-rolls and pulling high-Gs are where it's at. I like flying up above the battles, and coming in fast for a shock-and-awe attack to take out as many in a line as possible. Failing that, weave through the city skyline and hope not to crash.

Ace Combat is singularly the best flying series there has ever been, and I for one will be importing the flight stick if it isnt available locally (assuming it's supported).

Kenny Loggins soundtrack is also mandatory listening.
