'Xbox Live Marketplace is currently unavailable'

Post by flipswitch »

Read off GAF that the Katamari demo is out, went to check on the Marketplace and it said it's unavailable! WTF.

Is it just me?

katamari is compromised by asymmetrical stick placement. Feels odd.

PS2 version still the best.

I've been saying it for years. Shit, overrated series that is only popular as a "my first weird Japanese game".

Your eyes are just too round Candy.

The game is fun, but only in small doses. I am really doubting we need another Katamari game though.

Correct me if im wrong people, but every subject regarding something and xbox 360, pat seems to always pick on the 360.

Are you anti xbox pat, whats the deal man? This is extremely obvious, and extremely predictable.

Every poster needs a theme. Pat's been trying to reinvent himself lately as an Xbox hater.

Ok...now I can't access Xbox.com via Firefox or IE. It just hangs...has for days. Router reset...no difference. Could I be blocked?

Not that it helps but the site seems fine from here so it must be a local issue. I had the problem once where it wouldn't allow access and locked up and in the end it was as simple as clearing the cache.

I doubt you could be blocked from using the site... Try using the .au extension and see if it is any different.

I had a check around and can't find anything about other people with access. It sounds like it started after they upgraded and did maintenance the other day.

Strange that a router reboot doesn't work either - did you power down for a few minutes to be sure? What ISP are you using? Perhaps try and get a new IP if possible.

Do any live sites work? Try logging into Hotmail first in order to access http://live.xbox.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cleared cookies / site works. Thanks for the suggestions though, Offline. It was starting to piss me off.

No worries, not too much help but anything is worth a shot when something doesn't work.
