Buy one of the new black controllers. Definite marked improvment. I think the D pad is raised or something. Doesn't hit the sides at all. I was playing Lumnies last night, and it was like a new game.

Only some do. You can get a bog-standard wireless black controller w/o the charger for about $80. Fuck that.

I got it. It's the MVS (home) version. So limited continues. Also there is no option that I can see to disable the graphics smoothing.

uh....I already have buyer's remorse since I own the Neo Geo original and.....well the game isn't that good anymore. SNK should have released Real Bout instead. Those games still play superb.

I grabbed it... 400 points isn't that much plus I have paid more for larger piles of turd.

I just put it on normal and felt like I was being punished for picking up the control pad

Sure I'm not the biggest Neo Geo player but wow... that was hard.

I might have to dj fusion it and play through on easy... also what is with the 4 continues? That's just crazy talk.

Candy, was Real Bout the one with about 20-30 characters from quite a few SNK games, cos I think thats the one I had it confused with. I bought it instantly and realised it wasnt the one I thought it was. Still happy with it though, prefer it over the SF2 XBLA game thats for sure.

Hmm not good to hear, like you candy I have the original cart at home too, I was only interested in this version if it had decent net code to play online.

But maybe for 400 points i might still grab it, just to send a message to snk to port other classics like KOF/Realbout with online play to xbla.

I can't speak for netplay since at the time no one on my friends list had the game. I'm talking about the game itself. It still plays *ok*, but it is far from the Fatal Fury game I'd want to see on XBLA. The port itself from a single-player standpoint seems just fine.

tomby, you're thinking of Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, a game I would love to see on 360. Infact before the 360 was released the game was slated for a release, and since then....fuck all.

I have Neo Geo Battle Coliseum on the PS2. Not too bad a game IMO. But again... I'm not that big into SNK games so don't know everyone.
