Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter - 1 Problem

Dunno if anyone has the official 360 wireless adapter here, but I bought the cheapo Asian version off Play-Asia and it works except for one thing - it refuses to auto-connect to Live on boot when a disc is in the tray.

You take the disc out, reboot the 360 and it auto connects. Put the disc back in, reboot, it doesn't and you have to hit 'Connect to Xbox Live' on the dash to do it (or launch a game).

Is this something that just happens with this thing or is it fucked in some way?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's a known bug with the dashboard, not the wireless adapter.

The fact it happens to a lot of people and only happened after the last dash update.
