The Mako

It can go suck a fuck. This vehicle is game breaking. I have put up with a lot of shit in this game, but wow, oh fuck wow, I was getting the shits so much with it I was ready to turn the game off and never touch it again.

I would prefer to push a shopping cart that is missing a wheel.

fuck it is horrible. Pray you never get it stuck in a tight spot.

One more thing, anyone who doesn't press all the buttons in a game just to see what they do (because you are too lazy to read a manual and expect an in game tut) you can go and fuck yourself.

RB for cannon you fucktards. God, don't people play games anymore?

Who the fuck even uses those shoulder buttons for main weapons? I still beat the game with the turret. Consider it a challenge. :P

WTF? Sounds like this new DLC is going to be a bit of a cunt to access. Hope I've got a suitable save game, otherwise I guess I'll have to do the first level again very soon...

If you’re like me, you’re going to have to do a little bit of work to enjoy the newly announced downloadable content for “Mass Effect” when it comes out.

The “Bring Down The Sky” pack announced on Wednesday and slated for release on March 10 offers 90 minutes worth of bonus interplanetary exploration and combat. But if you saved the game where I did, you’ll have to spend a couple of hours reach a point of the game from which you can access it.

Even before I heard the announcement I was confused about how I would be able to enjoy the game’s promised downloadable content. I’ve cleared the game, and as others who also have can note, the “Mass Effect” galaxy is closed off to the player at least an hour before the game ends. “Mass Effect” isn’t like a “Grand Theft Auto,” or “Crackdown,” which leave their game environments open and available to the player even after their main narrative is concluded.

Instead, completing “Mass Effect” cycles the player back to the beginning of the game’s timeline, allowing them to replay the story with a powered-up copy of their character. But that character, at the outset of the story, can’t explore outer space and go to new downloadable worlds.

Yesterday at the DICE summit in Las Vegas, BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka confirmed to me that I would have to get my Commander Shepherd back in control of the Normandy spaceship — in other words, past the game’s opening Eden Prime and Citadel sequences — in order to access the new DLC.

Muzyka said that the new missions will populate themselves into the game’s galactic map, which players can access to explore the universe only once they’ve played a couple of hours into the game.

So woe to me who does not have the game saved at a moment in which the game’s galactic map is available. I knew I should have been keeping extra save files handy, in case I needed to do more exploring. Instead, those of us who are back at the beginning — and those of you who are at the end — have some playing to do to set themselves up for the new content.

It makes sense now that I think about it. Is this what all “Mass Effect” players were expecting? Could “BioWare” have handled access to the new material differently? Or would any other technique have ruined the game’s structure and dramatic impact?

Sif you don't have a bunch of saves at different points in a Bioware RPG. Really you should know better.

Or just start a new game +

I think I'll wait until all the DLC is available before starting my second play through :)

So I'm still going through my second time around, my female renegade biotic that specialises in assault rifles is now a nemesis and has some super powered biotic attacks; Singularity pwns everyone and everything.

40 hours+ and it's safe to say I fucking love this game. Can't see it approaching the 100 hours I've put in to Oblivion (with more to come as I still haven't finished Shivering Isles) but my word have I enjoyed it.

This second run through has been on hardcore and it has been quite a challenge at times but now with the biotic powers ramping up and Spectre weapons purchased, fools are getting owned all over the place. Sticking someone to the ceiling with lift + stasis is quite amusing.

I fully intend on one more run through the game, but it'll be with the DLC once it's available and it'll be on insane. My plan won't be to do a character restart like this time, I'll take the female through with me and keep all the stats. I think I'll need it on that difficulty.

Should also mention that being Renegade is far, far more enjoyable than being Paragon. Some of the dialogue whilst Renegade is pretty funny, as is basically hanging up on the council during debriefs

Finished it tonight. Fucking fantastic game.

Note: I didn't work out the mako gun straight away (maybe after 10 mins when I thought to myself "surely there is an easier way to kill these geth - I'll try another button") and I didn't work out the upgrades straight away either but after picking up a few items that were clearly marked upgrades I pondered the weapon screen and located it pretty easily.

Lesbo Paramour FTW!!!!!!!!
