LIVE runs fine most of the time. This is just overblown whinging.

I can see myself buying a PS3 this year but it certainly won't serve to replace LIVE in any way whatsoever unless SONY do something magnificent.

I agree. Admittedly, I haven't been on XBL much at all lately, but when I have been, it's been fine for me.

I'm with Cletus, I never have Live issues but will get a PS3 for stuff like Uncharted. It won't replace my online gaming mainly due to XBLA.

I can't believe how they still let people file frivilous law suit sin the US willy nilly. This is just ridiculous that people want compensation because oh no, xbox live was a bit wonky for a few days. Fucking America!

I've never seen you on PSN either, and I've been using my PS3 a hell of a lot lately!

Only in America would some people try to make money from that. That's why I wrote fucking America, I'm not bitching about the xbox live network, I haven't had a problem with it and if it started in America that's great. Now go for a run fatboy.

And also only in America have they sent people to the moon, invented the interweb, and designed the service you love so very much.

So back in your box, skip!

no... see that didn't happen. It was done in a studio. There are heaps of clues that give it away...

Guys, this is a trolling free subforum.

Please restrict any fun discussions to the General subforum.

Thanks.

Maybe I do, maybe I don't... it doesn't really matter what I think.

The bottom line is, you can't prove that they have actually landed someone on the moon.

 I'm sure they've got plenty of proof, but nut-jobs will always find a way to explain it away.

well, I've seen government created footage. So no real proof.

But anyway, this isn't the place to discuss if america has landed on the moon or not.

No real proof...

http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mmoonhoax.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In 1994, the Fortean Times had an article calling the moon landing into question. The article began, "The idea that we went to the Moon--and that we were successful in our Apollo endeavours--is so firmly embedded in the cultural lives of most people on this planet, that to voice the opinion that this might be untrue smacks of paranoia." I can't argue with that! The article goes on to claim, "In actual fact, mankind has no proof at all that we ever set foot on the Moon, other than the photographs that NASA has elected to publish." Which is simply untrue. We have the photos, the video, the audio, the testimony of all the men and women who worked on the various projects, the samples brought back, etc. The "evidence" of a conspiracy is from the photos themselves, and calling it "flimsy" gives it too much weight. For example, in the first photo he uses, the author supposedly analyzes the shadows, claiming to show that they are facing in different directions, meaning it was done with a very nearby light source. When I look at the same photo, however, I can't begin to imagine what this guy is going on about even with the arrows he has kindly inserted to point this stuff out! In several of the other photos, his claims are simply wrong--he puts in arrows to "show" how things should be, but he doesn't line them up properly.
And that's about what it comes down to. There will always be people who claim a conspiracy for just about anything. Facts will be ignored, rational people will be amazed and dismayed.
So true. As if the 1000s of people involved could have kept quiet about a conspiracy for all this time. People LOVE leaking secrets. If you think the moon landing was a conspiracy you're even dumber than I thought. Fin.

all government propaganda. Just like attacking your own country so you can go to war for oil, and remove your citizens rights.

Also, I've never said if I believe it one way or the other.

I never said that you believed it one way or another?

But then you DID just say it was all government propaganda in your latest post - can you at least stay consistent?

It's very interesting to observe what kind of people are liable to believe in conspiracy theories.

Just so you all know they never created XBL either. We have been living a lie and now the cracks are starting to appear.

I'd moderate this but I'm finding it entertaining and the original subject has run it's course.. Perhaps I should see if I can split it into OT.... Nahh

just because I said "all gov prop" doesn't mean I'm believing that, I'm just using it in an argument, as a rebuttal.

You say one side, I give the other side.

Again, not saying I believe or don't believe. It's just about questioning stuff, and not taking everything at face value.

When I first posted about the faked moon landing I was just quoting Whitest Kids.

I was going to actually suggest splitting it, you can call the OT thread "mech's inability to form his own opinions and his blind faith in the press, media and government"
