thing with tekken on PSN is...it is native 1080p supports online play and looks better then the arcade version and was released when t5dr was popular as hell in arcades..

this on the other hand seems like a sloppy port..they cant even TRY to add online?? the fuck...namco..

another thing tekken 5 drs netcode sucks balls...so all the people looking forward to sciv just hope namco does not fuck it up..or cut corners and use the T5DR netcode..

Downloading it now. Why? I can't be fucked with SC2 and my DC copy wont boot and even if it did my DC would probably reset within 30 seconds.

Echoing what Pariah said, Namco have owned themselves if this is an attempt at one uppery. T5DR Online owns the fuck out of this.

Sould Calibur should be ported to psp imo.

Get all the cool dc arcade games on there. The thing they have in common is that the psp and dc only have 1 analogue stick.

Seems pretty enough in 50" I expected it to have aged worse. I'm happy enough.

I might try and get my DC going in vga on the same screen for a comparison.

Jeez, you're easily pleased if you're ok with this Chaos.

It's an absolute travesty. And the compressed audio - ack!
I played XB1 SC2 on BC immediately following it, and holy shit at the difference. It's like night and day.

Namco outdo themselves on the 360 yet again...

What was their excuse for 4:3 only? It is hardly an old game, surely going 16:9 wouldn't have taken much effort.

Yeah yeah but SC2 was 720p on the xbox to start with. Apples with apples mate.

Compressed audio is maybe a prob if i listened to the old version recently or wasnt used to everything compressed to shit these days anyhow.

At the end of they day I now have easy access to SC and am happy enough with that. Am I pissed with no widescreen or online? You bet but hey what's done is done.

Count me amongst the easily pleased. It's a fun bit of nostalgia to run through SC again. Looks a lot better on the present era big screen than I thought it would too.

Most importantly, turning on the 360 for a quick game of SC involves one press of the remote. Resurrecting the DC from wherever the hell it is in my spare room, messing around with the cords and cables, working out which VMU had the SC save...makes me lose interest in the whole exercise just thinking about it.

But XB1 Soul Calibur 2 (which is BC on 360) is about a bazillion times better, and costs less.
