Now that I can see you, you're dead...
I just bought myself a JVC - LT-Z26SX5 to browse and play LIVE on.
And I think I got it for a good deal at $1448 on twelve months interest free from Harvey Norman. 26" HD 1080i
Anyway,I should now be able to see you ducking behind that jeep.

OMG major issue.Harvey Norman will swap it for one that doesn't have the following issue.
The native res for this tv is 1360x766 BUT VGA max rez on this screen is 1024x768.Lestat says this is not uncommon.Manufacturers expect the unit to be used as a television and thus use cheap vga parts hence the nerf.
So my pc screen is blurry and the 360 won't display in anything above 1024x768.
Infact the pc input for the tv has only two resolutions allowed. 640x480 and 1024x768.This applies to the 360 when running VGA.
Luckily the salesperson knew I intended to use the unit as a monitor and to run the 360 via VGA also.So tomorrow I have to go back to Harvey Norman with the TV and my Xbox and the VGA cable and we have to test the tv that will replace this one.
I've been running the 360 via rgb and at 1080i it looks sweet as a nut.But this will not do when I have the vga cable and can't use it.
Anyway,it should all be fixed tomorrow.

I might as well update.
Paid an extra 300bucks for the 66cm Samsungtron with built in digital/hd tuner. That was a boon actually because I plugged the ariel lead straight into the TV and now I've cut out an extra appliance(being the set top box for this room). This tuner doesn't stutter like the DSTB did and the picture is perfect.
Runs native rez via VGA input so that's what I'm doing...running the pc and the 360 at 1360 x 768.No more blurred text.
All better now and the picture quality over the JVC is quite noticeable.
The model is the LA26R7
