jizz, I was surprised at how good the photos were in low-light with the playstation eye, but I do seem to remember having difficulty getting good photos with the lights up... go figure.

It doesn't have a macro mode does it? That's going to make it hard to take pics of things for in the game.
i've only tried taking pics of stuff straight from my lappy screen, plenty of backlight, but I get a fuzzy image with reflection, it's way worse when making it into a sticker... it's a shame because it's be a great tool otherwise
i've managed really good results doing the same thing with the inferior xbox camera

Just picked this up and I'm looking forward to trying some of the levels mentioned here (before they disappear!). Will report back with any other cool levels I find.

Feel free to add or invite me (Sprock3_GAZ) if anyone is up for some co-op. I'm generally online at weekends and some afternoons/nights during the week.

Ive mainly used the eyetoy with eyecreate, made some stunning stop motion videos of all my toys lol.. havent used it much with lbp but on the attempts i tried it did okay, you need to set up lighting though, i have all lighting rigs and other things that help with lack of light, but i wish the eyetoy had the quality of my laptops webcam, oh well :)

You guys still taking note of any good levels? A couple that I tried tonight:

Inside the sackboy, by AllyITA - short but very funky. Great style.
Mount Eversack, by Snugenz - has some problems, but still fun and nice looking.

A friend of mine has created a level - pretty good too but I found it a bit er.....challenging. I think it's called Find My Lost Dog Yuki. Just search for Yuki and you'll find it. Even if you don't like it please heart it as it took him 5 solid days to make and has some pretty cool things in it. A hint though - don't move too much with the balloons just let them take you up.

my level will be ready soon, not much of a challenge really, more like a short journey ranchers can relate to.

i'll be making it more interesting after that, alternate paths and shit like that

I don't know much about finding levels, but my little GR themed level is up, it's called 'we acted like duckheads' and I stuck it on Perth, it's real simple but it's a start... some funny bits and the stickers I made are fucking sweet!

hopefully "duckheads" isn't seen as a swear word by the mods

Shit hot jizz - I'll give it a bash tonight. Anyone on your friends list should be able to find it easily through the friends thing on the left. Otherwise I've found it easiest to just search by author.

Need to remember to check it out tonight.

Did you make a copy of it in case they moderate it?

I think they can make it so you can't upload that one from that spot again... not sure how it works, but I'd make a copy just to be safe.

Nice one jizz!

The stickers are awesome - got a few new ones for me to decorate my pod with. I think I missed one though...

I managed to get stuck a couple times (once in the middle of a cactus) but I seem to have a habit of testing levels in that regard. A couple items could maybe use glueing down, like the switch near the stairs.

But yeah - funky, with some nice touches throughout.

cheers :)

yeh i'll glue that switch
I get stuck occasionally too, especially at the start, but the cactus' look pretty cool.
the spikes have fallen off one of them however, I could just stick a new one there but I put a bit of sticker work on it... fucking stupid how that happens though, I can't even delete the offending spikes as it's part of the scenery object.
also, sometimes you get a bit stuck at the bottom of the slide, losing a lot of momentum

anyway, that's version 1.0, i'd like to make it into something cool

Not sure - I was knocking cowboys out of my way all over the place. You mean the one that screamed?

I got stuck in that cactus, too! Cool level, though, jizzlobber. Appreciate the nice stickers. Enjoyed the level (hearted it and you) even if, as a relative newcomer to GR, some of the jokes may have gone a little over my head...

For me it was the bit where you jump from the skull to the ledge and you make a cowboy scream and collect a couple stickers then land on some cars and from there I jumped to the right and landed in the middle of a cactus and then couldn't move (I think). Something like that.
