Mass Effect Platinum Hits/Classics
Has anyone heard any news on the 2 disc re-release of Mass Effect? Supposedly it was due to have been released on the 10th in the US, but I haven't been able to track down any info on the PAL version. I assume there is one coming though since cdwow has it listed (release date has passed but there's no box shot or anything, so I'm not sure about ordering from there.. plus it seems too expensive). I can't find any mention on palgn either.

Found the US version on Gamestop's website - http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Product ... t_id=73790
Still no luck finding any info on a PAL release yet.

Gamestop.com's international shipping rate is pretty high at US$15. I can't track it down anywhere else, let alone confirmation of it being region free... I went to EB at lunch to check but the guy there couldn't find any record of it for a local release. I'd hate to order it with that kind of international shipping cost (and apparently having to get them confirmation of the address registered with my credit card) only to find they region locked the re-release.
Looks like it'll be out in Europe on the 20th of March.. so either we'll get a local release, or it won't be too hard to order.

The first trailer for ME2 has hit and it says Sheperd is killed in action!! So that'd throw the rollover saves out the window. Of course, I doubt he is actually killed.Kaji wrote:I've heard it does t0mby

Play-Asia now has the region free US version of the Patinum Hits release for US$25. Still no word on a local release - palgn doesn't have it listed. This new version has the DLC mission, and the second disc has an NXE theme and a few other things on it.
Some new DLC missions are being released too apparently.
