So, KRudd's giving me some cash, and I'm going to spend mine on a 360 (making me an Unbiased Gamer). So, a couple of questions:
Anyone know of any good deals on the Pro console at the moment?
Are there any exclusive games that I can't afford to miss out on?
On my shortlist are: PGR 3/4, Dead Rising, Halo 3, GoW 1/2. Maybe Forza 2 or Race Pro.

Wouldn't bother with PGR3, go straight for 4, possibly the best in the series imo.

although PGR4 has a very un user friendly menu system that I cracked the shits with and made me never want to play the game again.
Recommendations... Crackdown.

PGR4 was $30 for a long time at JB Hi Fi. Not sure if it is these days though.
Personally, I think Forza 2 is a must, but Forza 3 should be out by the end of the year.
I recommend Mass Effect.

Get PGR4 and Forza 2, Race Pro is really hit and miss (driving model is god-like, but wet weather doesnt affect it and the modes are very basic).
Definitely get Crackdown, its super cheap these days.

Pretty much most of these games (PGR4, Crackdown, Forza 2, Gears 1), can be had well under $50 if you shop around. Halo 3 is still probably $70+.

If you have a gold account, anything that is co-op over live is pretty awesome. Anything you can co-op the story mode in.

Probably going to hold off on the online stuff until after I move next month. And then the month after that our baby's born, and I'll have no spare time for gaming whatsoever. Even with the PS3 I haven't gone online that much with it.
Blotto, I'll see how much I spend this weekend and then get back to you.

WoW and a laptop. If you're particularly frugal, you can probably get a full year of game time paid up too.

Definitely PGR4 (equal best of the series with 2) over PGR3 (worst of the series). DEAD RISING - one of the best games this gen. Mass Effect. Agree with all the already listed stuff.
Stuff not already listed.
Guess we're talking Retail 360 exclusives only?
Ninja Gaiden 2 (with blood - don't let anyone tell you it doesn't matter in this game).
Viva Pinata - Trouble in Paradise. Hire first and see if it's your thing. It's not for everyone, but if the bug bites, it bites hard.
Lost Odyssey. Best JRPG since FFVII for mine.

Yeah, weird that there are no XBL recommendations... Braid, Geometry Wars 2, Ikaruga, Rez. Admittedly the latter two aren't exclusive, but they're the versions to have.
Lost Planet is really awesome, I'll second that. The PS3 version has a bit more content, but a preowned 360 version will be very cheap in comparison. As I recall it's just a couple of extra guns and characters for the online modes, nothing major.

Doesn't the latest SE of LP have that for 360 anyway? I think mine does, and I paid fuck-all for it from Playsia.

Not sure about that, I've got the original release and so haven't really kept an eye on such things. But if it's cheap at Play-AZN, you may as well grab a new copy Dan. I think most places sell the standard one for $30 preowned.

Ah nice one fellas, thanks for the tips. I've got a decent list of stuff now, Crackdown and Dead Rising are two games I'm very LTTP on, and am looking forward to checking them out.

Crackdown is so going to be overhyped for you. It's not OMG MUST OWN A 360 FOR THIS GAME title. It's fun, but shit, I haven't touched it in ages.
