Anyone in or around Wollongong got a HDD transfer cable?

Probably not since I don't know of anyone else here from Wollongong, so would anyone who's not too far away be willing to lend me one via post? Happy to cover expenses of course, and I won't upper-deck it.

Slightly off-topic, but just got 120gb hd to put into my PAL 360(will put 20gb into JAP 360).

Have tried the transfer twice so far, without success, let's see if third times a charm as they say.

So a 120GB Elite drive fell into my lap the other day and I'm thinking of further Frankensteining my Pro. I've done a 20GB to 120GB transfer before, but this time around there's a crapton of XBLA titles involved...

The guide on the Xbox site seems to be written for people upgrading from a Pro to an Elite, whereas I'm just copying the contents of my 20GB drive to a 120GB drive and putting it back onto the same Xbox. Does that mean all of my content licenses will still be there, ie I won't have to be signed into XBL to access my arcade titles?

Theoretically that should be the case since you will still be using the original Xbox.

yeah if you are just copying from an old HDD to a new one then it copies all that crap across. I think it changes the info on the new HDD to that of your old one.

You only do the licence thing if you are swapping a HDD between machines. Or if your old system has died in a fire and you are redownloading stuff onto a completely new system and HDD.
