Nah, we've had some pearler summers. Actually today was very warm. Temp wise it's nothing compared to there but having experienced extreme heat in both countries I would take an Adelaide 44 over an Auckland 32 any day of the week.

Hasn't even reached 30 here yet. Mind you, the humidity in this town is through the roof. You don't normally notice it because there's usually a stiff breeze coming off the sea, but today has been dead calm for the first time in months. Definitely uncomfortable, and certainly not what I'm used to, coming from Adelaide and its convection oven style heat.
