35 yesterday, 34 today, even the forecast late next week will still be 32. Knowing our luck it'll jump straight into Winter.

My new Oakley Madman arrived the other day. I decided they'd suit me better if I shaved my head which I did today. I just went outside and felt cold Melbourne air on my naked head for the first time on ten or more years. My ears started hurting in minutes. Today was not a good day to shave my head.

Funnily enough I was thinking about this thread just today and how much I don't want winter to end.

I'm desperate for summer to come back. And Daylight savings. I've done a complete 180 on both of them. I love having all the doors open on a warm summer night. Sick of being cooped up from 6pm and having to throw layers on just to walk outside. We have evaporative cooling in the house too which I enjoy in summer, as long as it isn't muggy...then Evap cooling isn't so great. But at least you can run the aircon without having to seal yourself into the house.
