Rabbits vs Broncos. I think that might have been the game Yow Yeh snapped his leg.

Even worse when it's both halves.Candy Arse wrote:Teams lose, but it's harder through a full season without your halfback every week....
Such a shame science isn't at a level where we can simply take a player with a torn ACL, broken bone etc. and heal them instantly. Would be great to see an NRL season where every team has their absolute best roster on the park. Seeing important players sidelined for huge chunks of the season can make those seasons feel like a write off.
Atleast that's how I feel about the Panthers this year. We expect to get players back and for the team to improve when it's at full strength, but there just never seems to be an end in site for injured players. Any week we welcome someone back another player seems to take their spot on the sidelines. Unlike last year the injuries have actually had an effect on the team and we are playing like a shit reserve grade side.

Re: NRL 2015 - The Broncos Juggernaut Rolls On
Ok something is seriously wrong with the training staff or medical staff at the Panthers. Or both. Our injury list has just gotten even bigger with James Segeyaro missing for 4 weeks now. The injury list as of this week is:
1.
2. Josh Mansour - 6 weeks
3. Jamal Idris - Season
4.
5.
6. Jamie Soward - 6+ weeks
7. Peter Wallace - 6 Weeks
8. Brent Kite - 6 weeks
9. James Segeyaro - 4 weeks
10.
11. Lewis Brown - 4+ weeks
12.
13. Elijah Taylor - 2 weeks? (wasn't named, but may be a late inclusion)
At minimum, we will be missing 7 starters. But with Robert Jennings being named on an extended bench, we could also possibly lose Dean Whare and have up to 9 of our starting 13 out injured. These aren't just minor injuries either. They're mostly 6+ week injuries.
This week we will be missing our 6/7/9, with Matt Moylan being the only player left in our spine. Thank god the injuries have hurt his form a little, or else he might have been picked for Origin and we could be looking at missing our entire spine.

Re: NRL 2015 - The Broncos Juggernaut Rolls On
Yeah injured his knee in the first half last week leaping to score a try in the corner. He and Kite both didn't return for the second half. the twoman bench and then sin binning of Yeo probably helped the score blowout at the end of the game.

Congratulations Canberra Raiders, new World Club Champions!
Weren't Souths the team that pasted Brisbane a few weeks ago?

Souths have lost 3 in a row, Roosters 4 in a row. This NRL comp is nuts.

Re: NRL 2015 - Games Ranch Superbowl Saturday 8pm
Dragons winning 6 in a row is ridiculous. I liked them to be a fringe top 8 side, never expected this though.
Also the Sharks beating Souths and Roosters, then losing to Panthers with 8 starting players out. Ridiculous.
Oh and Manly only winning 2 games in 8 weeks, and both of them being against the Storm who have been pretty good outside of those games.
So glad I gave up tipping a few years back.

I tipped Tigers over Dogs and Titans over Warriors which had me sitting pretty. Then I tipped the Knights, Roosters and Storm which had me crashing back to earth.

The NRL is becoming more whack each year. Right now you literally have NO IDEA who is going to be the goods when it counts.
Everyone is good, and everyone is shit. Hopefully QLD can restore some order by sweeping NSW in Origin, at least then things will feel normal again.

I reckon. I should just ask the other half who'd win.

Accurate responses by delusional Queenslanders... A dominant era where they bashed, humiliated and flogged their massively inferior opponent in every game played over 8 long years

I sat here for 30 seconds and couldn't think of a more accurate summation. Nice one!jizzlobber wrote:A dominant era where they bashed, humiliated and flogged their massively inferior opponent in every game played over 8 long years

It was the Golden Age of both Games-Ranch and the NRL. Neither have been the same since.

Your best chance of winning is stealing a Queensland kid from his bed in Luke Keary.

Re: NRL 2015 - Games Ranch Superbowl Saturday 8pm
Oh don't you cunts start with that!!
I don't like it though, if the kid was born in qld and wants to play for qld then he should be allowed to... Wankers like Inglis, khunt, tamou etc are different because they have no history worth the state of choice.
Keary should play for qld, his heart wouldn't be in it if in a blue jersey.
He isn't good enough anyway, at this stage he just has potential.
I like the look of bird from the sharks.
