Does anyone watch Outlander?

I ask because fuck me the last two eps of the season are harrowing. My wife watched it between her fingers because she struggled to look at the screen.

And I thought it was just going to be a nice romantic time travelling show...

I couldn't get into Outlander.

Anyway the Wachowskis have a Netflix show called Sense8.

It's pretty much a tourist brochure for alternative sexualities and relationships written by a god who doesn't seem to be against it.. When will someone tell the Wachowskis that rave parties aren't cool. We don't like them.

I'd say give Ronald D Moore's actual next show after BSG a few eps. Characters are great, dialogue is great, story is great, music from Bear McCreary is aces, and it has one of the most vilest villains I've ever seen.

When you get to the last two eps of the season you'll wish you could reach into your tv and strangle Black Jack Randall.

Yep Mr. Robot is the goods.

At times though it kept reminding me of American Psycho the movie. It feels like a modern version. Just a lot of, is this really happening...

Guess we just wait for more EPs.

They weren't shy about going full IT. No explanation of terminology, just if you don't know this then this isn't for you.

I love it.

Dark Matter is a cool scifi from the Stargate dudes. Really enjoyed the pilot.

Sense8 first ep was dull as fuck. Just continuous character story and not much else... I'll watch the next ep to see if they can shut up about their character back stories for half a second...

Not a bad first episode from True Detective. Tried to moderate my expectations because I didn't really get into the first season until around episode 3. Will watch and judge the series as a whole. I kind of miss Marty though, everyone seems really serious.

Much more complicated story line. John Carter's in it.

I've really enjoyed Sense8. A bit too much lesbian scissoring.. but otherwise the character development has been front and centre and it's been great getting to know them all.
The action scenes that pepper the show give you that anticipation that something cool is gonna happen.

I really disliked the lesbians. Their story and characters were just atrocious. My favourite character and story was the gay closeted Mexican action hero.

Yeah at first I didn't like them.. Then I didn't mind them... The black chick annoyed me but then sometimes I liked how they interacted plus I liked that Nomi had explained to them what was happening to her... None of the others had opened up to their friends and/or family about it.. For the good things that eventuates.. It was then kinda countered by silly stuff but I've been able to put my annoyances on hold as on the whole.. I think it's been pretty cool.

Thanks to Netflix (why I didn't try Netflix earlier I don't know) I'm about 5 eps into the first season of American Horror Story. Seemed good a few eps in but finding the introduction of new characters a little wierd. Is the house like some kind of Pet Cemetery?

American Horror Story is a bit different in that many of the cast return each season but it's a new story, different location and the actors play new characters for each season.

American Horror Story is weird in general. Stay with it though because the introduction of new characters will be explained.
Season 2 is seriously fucked up.
Season 3 was not as well received but I loved it.
Season 4 I haven't finished yet but it's all kinds of fucked up. Especially if you have a fear of clowns.

First season of AHS is terrible. It's basically a shit version of Beetlejuice.

Season 2 is great.

Season 1 wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it as it definitely was a different show compared to what else was around at the time.. but Season 2 was a lot better.

Killjoys is kind of dumb and corny but fun. Dark Matter is totally dumb and corny and also still kind of fun.

Started watching It's always sunny in philly... surprisingly funny show in a slightly b-grade way. It's nice to have a comedy to binge through as opposed to the usual dark stuff.

Show for me at the moment are Stitchers and Dark Matter. I like the characters and the mystery in both.

Killjoys has a cool attitude about it, but I fear like other shows created by Michelle Loveretta it will turn to complete arse if she leaves as show runner.

Watching Mr. Robot now. Show is awesome...at the moment. Love the moodiness of the locales.
